Congress Park Located in the center of town, this beautifully landscaped park features the historic Canfield Casino and many of the famous springs that made the area famous. Saratoga Performing Arts Center. The casino did not open for another season and in 1911, Canfield sold the building and a large portion of land to the City of Saratoga Springs. “We are very fortunate that the City of Saratoga Springs is a good steward of the building that tells such an important part of our community’s history.

The Saratoga Springs History Museum, located in the Canfield Casino in Congress Park, tells the story of Saratoga Springs from its beginnings to modern day.

Featuring three floors of exhibits as well as dynamic programs throughout the year, the Saratoga Springs History Museum welcomes visitors and members to learn more about this famous city and the people that made it so.

Closed for the season December 7

The History Museum follows all COVID-19 safety protocols
